Yoga Name: Taj Prem Kaur, the Princess/Lioness whose heart is filled with divine love through the power of her radiant aura

Training Certificates or Qualifications:  Advanced Coach training (Coach U), Kundalini Yoga training certification (IKYTA) 200 hours. Louise Hay teacher certification, Kinesiology certification level 3.

Inspirational teachers: Yogi Bhajan, Guru Dass, Erin O’hara, Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson

Background: I was first introduced to Kundalini Yoga in 2014. During my second class I knew deep within, that I wanted to teach this form of yoga. I was inspired by how I felt and I absolutely loved the mantras.   I also loved that for over 6 years I’d been supporting people to connect within and love themselves more and I’d found a Yoga that supported people to achieve these goals on a far deeper and more spiritual level.

Why I practice:  I practice to attain a deeper connection with my inner wisdom, which supports every area of my life, to stay healthy and happy and to continue on the path of self-discovery so I’m able to live a more enriched, soulful life.

Why I teach:  Everything I’ve trained in, has improved my life on so many levels. I lived a very chaotic and stressful life prior to starting my journey of self-discovery. It feels deeply rewarding to share what I’ve learnt and help support others to enrich their lives too.

Favorite quotes:

Love is the ultimate state of human behavior where compassion prevails and kindness rules. Yogi Bhajan

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Marianne Williamson
